This policy explains how LordsiVR uses cookies, local storage, pixels and similar technologies. Essential technologies operate because the site cannot provide requested services without them. Optional technologies operate only after you consent.
Your choices
On your first visit, you can accept all, choose individual categories, or select Essential only. Refusing optional technologies is as easy as accepting them and does not prevent normal browsing. You can change or withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings below. A withdrawal applies from that point forward.
LordsiVR recognises an enabled Global Privacy Control signal by keeping advertising and offer tracking off. You can also clear site data in your browser.
Technology inventory
Essential — always active
- LordsiVR cookie preferences — local storage records your category choices, policy version and choice date until you clear it or a later policy requires a new choice.
- Account and security — authentication may use session, CSRF and callback cookies (including secure variants of NextAuth session-token, csrf-token and callback-url). Session cookies expire when the session/browser ends or at their configured expiry, generally no longer than 30 days for a signed-in session.
- Security and delivery — hosting, network and security providers may process IP address, request and device information and use strictly necessary technologies to deliver and protect the service.
Analytics — consent required
PostHog measures page views, searches, clicks and feature use. It may store a pseudonymous visitor identifier and event information in browser storage and on PostHog’s EU service. LordsiVR initializes PostHog opted out; no analytics capture begins unless you enable Analytics. Retention follows LordsiVR’s configured PostHog settings.
Personalisation — consent required
This category allows LordsiVR to remember interests and preferences to support recommendations. It is not required to read the site.
Advertising and offers — consent required
Google AdSense advertising code is not loaded unless you enable this category. If enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, IP address, device identifiers and ad interaction data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted, ad personalisation. Advertising is limited to public content pages. LordsiVR does not intentionally load AdSense advertising on Studio, account, profile, sign-in or sign-up pages.
Affiliate links may identify a referral when you follow a link to a retailer. The destination site then controls its own cookies under its policy; LordsiVR may receive aggregated conversion or commission information.
Third parties and international transfers
Optional providers act under their own terms and may process data outside your country using recognised transfer safeguards where required. See the Privacy Policy for providers, purposes, legal bases, retention and rights.
