Meta Quest Pro

The Meta Quest Pro is Meta's first mixed reality focused VR headset. Also referred to as "Seacliff" and "Project Cambria" during production, the headset is targeted primarily towards enterprise customers, with various notable improvements over the company's consumer focused headset, the Quest 2. The Quest Pro is Meta's first headset to feature eye tracking and dynamic foveated rendering, which will be used to render graphics at a higher level of detail in comparison to the Quest 2.. The Quest Pro is also one of the first commercially available VR headsets to make use of pancake lenses, a multi-element lens design that significantly reduces the required distance between the display and the lenses, and subsequently the depth profile of the headset itself. This, combined with its counterbalanced headstrap, gives the device a much more favourable weight distribution when compared to the Quest 2. The Quest Pro is also be the first Meta headset to feature full color passthrough, which facilitates use of the device for mixed reality, a feature demonstrated by Meta in promotional videos about the device.
