About this device
Apple Vision Pro is Apple's first XR device, intended to be used primarily for mixed reality content. It features a front display that shows the wearer's eyes, allowing the wearer to make eye contract with others outside of the headset.
Apple Vision Pro uses iris scanning to authenticate users while wearing the headset, allowing for the wearer to security make payments and access secure resources.
Apple Vision Pro required the filing of over 5000 patents for technologies used in the device.
Apple Vision Pro was announced during Apple's Keynote speech at WWDC 2023.
